January 27-29

With the holidays already over and winter on its way, traveling at the end of January is one of the cheapest and least traveled days of the year. With airplanes not filling up to capacity, booking your trip last minute will not be a problem and you are almost guaranteed a great deal on a flight.

February 3-5

If you want to travel this winter, this is one of the last cheap dates available. With school vacations, then President’s Day weekend, it is suddenly spring break, followed by a busy summer of travelers. After February, flights begin to go up, so make sure you get one last trip in while airfares are still cheap!

September 7-9

Don’t get us wrong, with kids just getting back in school, this might be a tough weekend to travel, but if you look on the bright side, this is also a very cheap weekend for airfare since airlines know most schools are starting back up.

September 14-16

Travel Tip: If you want cheap fares, avoid weekends all together. If you look at different airlines, Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the cheapest day to travel. If you read the fine print on the fare sales frequently run by carriers like JetBlue and Southwest, you’ve probably noticed that the cheap fares often don’t apply on Fridays and Sundays, when most people fly. Try flying during the week, and expect some great savings!

October 19-21

Anytime in the middle of October are great times to travel. With winter right around the quarter, you will be sure to find yourself a cheap flight. When winter rolls in, get your flight to somewhere warm and enjoy some days in the sun.

November 1-4

With Thanksgiving later this month, people are often waiting to travel until the holiday hits. Travel before airfares raise their prices for the holiday travelers. Go out and enjoy some warm weather if you are in the cold, or hit the slopes if you can find some snow!
